When Kai finally goes to sleep, he is such a peacful little guy.
Kai hates to be left on his back all day. He only wants to be lying down when he sleeps. If he is awake he has to be able to see what is happening around him. We bought him a bumbo so that he can sit on his own.
Meg took Kai with her when the whole family went to Nara prefecture. This is Meg and her brother KAZ.
Kai is apprehensive about that deer. In Nara, deer are considered sacred. They are very well treated, and at one time the penalty for killing a deer was death. Nowadays, they have deer crackers that you buy to feed the deer. If you hold one out the deer will bow as if to say, "give me that cracker!"
