Finally!!! やっと、、、

ユタの６月だというのに、ここ何週間か梅雨のような天気でした。京都の梅雨とは違って、

蒸し暑くはないけど、毎日肌寒くて、暗いんです。

私達はまたあっついユタの夏がくるし嫌やなーと言ってたので、

最初のほうは喜んでたけど、毎日続くとだんだん嫌になってきました。（勝手な話ですが）

でも、昨日お昼ごろから夜まで雨がふって、夜の８時半ごろ小雨の中こんなに

きれいな虹がでました。端から端まできれいにでてて、

私はうれしくて大はしゃぎしてたんですが、大自然豊かなユタ育ちのメローにとっては

虹ぐらいではしゃがないのでした。

　（結婚する前にユタによくあるスプリンクラーの水によってできた虹を見て私が感激してたらメローは横で笑っていました）参考まで

でも、かいくんにとって初めての虹の拝見となったので、記念撮影。

It had been cloudy and rainy everyday. Is there a rainy season in Utah?

We weren't excited for the hot hot summer, so we got excited about the rain at first, but we started feeling depressed with the chillyness and darkness.

It rained all afternoon yesterday, then about 8:30 in the evening, there were huge rainbows!

I (Meg) was so excited to see such a beautiful sight of nature, but Merrill was not impressed at all. It must be a Utahn thing. Before we got married, I saw a rainbow in the sprinklers. It looked so pretty, but Merrill just stood to the side and laughed at me. This was Kai's first rainbow though, so we took a few pictures.

今日はやっと、久しぶりの晴れ模様でした。

朝からかいくんとパパの仕事場まで散歩に行きました。

おんぶひも、かなり助かってます。ありがとう、お母さん。
