Camping at Starvation キャンプ、キャンプ

6/26,27 We went camping at Starvation.

It was raining before we left, but when we got there, the weather was nice!

We could see SO MANY stars everywhere that night. This is what I love about Utah.

６月２６日、２７日に私たちが住んでるＯｒｅｍから２時間半ぐらい

南北にいったところにある、スターベーションというところに行きました。

その日の昼間はすごい雨が降って暗かったのに、夜になるとすっかり雨がやんで

星がたくさん見えました。次の日も天気がよくて、気持ちよかったです。

Kai sleeps when he's ready to sleep........

夜がは風が強くてテントの中でもすごい音がして熟睡できなかったみたい。

朝になってごはんの準備の間おんぶしてたら寝てしまった。

and nobody can wake him up.
いつもならすぐ起きるのに、、、よっぽどつかれてたんやね。



Kai and GMAS waited at the beach while all the others (Meg, David, Koji and Merrill) went cliff jumping and snorkeling.

私たちがラフティングしてるあいだ、グランマがかいくんを見ててくれました。

This is the area that we went swimming and cliff jumping at.

この湖は、透き通っててほんとにきれい。

ただ、冷たすぎて、へたれな私は一回浸かってもうむりでした。

Kai is ready for a swim in his swim suit.

Then GPAS put him in a life jaket so that he could....
ライフジャケットもきて、、、

Take him "Kaiyaking". Get it? KAIyaking! HA! GPAS loved it.

さ～て、グランパと初めてのカヤック。カイカイヤック。

Most valuable cargo ever trasported by boat.

カヤックに乗るには背がひくすぎた、かいくん。

腕が垂直になってます（笑）

First class seating with luxurious cushions.

グランパのおなかがふかふかのクッションになってかいくん的には

こっちのほうがこわくなかったかな？

でも終始、静かに、リラックスしてる感じでしたよ。

After the Kaiyak trip, Kai tried his luck at swimming. He didn't fancy the tempurature of a high elevation lake after a wet cool June.

湖に入ってみたけど、この顔。すっごく嫌やったみたいで、

すごい声で泣きました。ママと一緒で、冷たいのは嫌いみたいです。

But he always rebounds when he's back in mommy's arms.

すぐに着替えてご機嫌さんになりました。
