8/5 はいはい Crawling

最近の海くんが、はまっていること。それは、ゲームのコントローラーや、私のメイクアップ道具の入っているバスケットをひっくり返して遊ぶこと。

Kai's recent interest is to turn over the basket that has video game controllers and my make up stuff to play with them.

でも、近くで母か父がみてないと、一人ぼっちと気づいた瞬間泣いてしまいます。

but he starts crying once he realizes that no one is around him.

こまったもんです。

He gives mommy lots of troubles.


でもまた、近くにいると確認できると、安心して遊びにもどります。

but then, he goes back to play once he sees me watching him.





８月５日おにいちゃんの誕生日の日にちゃんとはいはいできるようになりました。

４日５日と用事があって、おばあちゃんの家にいったのですが、行く度におばあちゃんの厳しい（でも愛情もありの）はいはいの特訓(ブートキャンプ)が行われます。そして２日目の夜、突然自分からはいはいしだしました。実は１日目の夜は、ずりばいから自分でお座りできるようになってました。
おばあちゃん、すっごい！

やっぱり、練習ってさせるもんなんですね。今では、はいはいがだいぶ早くてトイレでもキッチンでもどこでもついてきます。

Aug 5, Kai crawled on his hands and knees for his first time!
On the 4th and 5th, we had something to do with Grandma Duncan.
Both days, she performed her rigorous, but love-filled crawling BOOT CAMP on Kai.
Then, on the night of the 5th, he used his training to crawl on his own.
What a victory! Thanks, Grandma!

I always thought that kids naturally learn how to crawl, but I realized the importance to teach them. Now he follows me everywhere into the kitchen and the bathroom, it doesn't matter, even eats a slice of olive on the floor.
