Trick or Treat?!

We went on Kai's very first Trick or Treat route. We circled around Merrill's childhood neighborhood. Everyone was very kind. Meg was so suprised that so many people prepare candy and give it out with such huge smiles and kind words.

Kai had been practicing saying Trick or Treat for a few days. He wasn't too interested in saying it until he discover the power these words have. He quickly became very proficient at pronouncing them. He also had a propensity to push through large crowds of children to the front of the stoop chanting Trick or Treat as he streched out his hand to reach countless candy bowls. His great enthusiasm and extra strain often paid off in higher ROE (Return on Effort)per door as kind neighbors doubled or tripled his booty. He was lovin' it.

かいくん、人生初の”トリックORトリート？”（いたずらかおかしどっちがいい？）に行ってきました。

私、はっきりいうて結構めんどくさかったですが、、、

かいぼんのうれしそうな姿をみると、行ってよかったな～って心から思いました。

メローの実家の近所をまわったんですが、みんなほんとにナイスでした。

この日の為におかしを買って子供たちが家をノックしてくるのをまって、笑顔ででてきてお菓子をくれるってどんな良い人なん？かいくんにみんなやさしくしてくれて感動、感謝です。

帰りにメローとあんな風に年をとりたいねーと話したぐらい、、、

毎年、ハロウィンや、クリスマスのデコレーションがすごい家をみます。なかでもすごかったのを昨日みたので、パチリさせてもらいました。

１時間半ぐらい回ったけど、最初のほうなかなか言えなかったTrick or treat?が最後のほうにはちゃんと言えて、ちゃんとお菓子をとったら自分から「せんきゅー」や、「あーとー」あと、

「すぃーやー（またね）」をいうてました。彼より大きいおねえちゃん、おにいちゃんにも物応じせず、

割り込んでいって、ちょうだいの手をしてました。その姿がなかなか笑けた。

とっても楽しい経験になったと思います。
